On the simple premise that the Internet could be a populous revolution and not simply a technological revolution, I have spent much of the best years of my life in front of a computer screen. I might complain sometimes, but I don’t regret it.
I grew up in Lodi, California and moved to Santa Cruz when I was 16. I surfed away most of my life until when I was 19 I took intro to political philosophy. Since that class I have been surfing less and less and working more and more. I was the founding coordinator of California Student Sustainability Coalition. With about 20 other youth leaders from across the U.S. and Canada, I helped to found the Energy Action Coalition. At some point in all of this I bought a computer and started learning how to make websites. Now through some combination of the needs of my organization and my own social anxiety I have found my self a digital organizer.
I live and work in DC where I manage the online communications of the Energy Action Coalition. I do design, code, strategy and content production. I work with amazing people and am blessed to be paid to be on the front lines at the nexus of the climate and netroots movements.
Damn, this is a sweet ass blog you got here! The design is awesome.
